I’m liking where this is going. I’ve been feeling that the strip has been a bit lacking in the conflict department up to now—-with Dakota being sort of on the low-key side as an antagonist. This newly revealed set of parents——a feisty dad who can hold his own against his daughter’s whims, and a mom who’s prone to sardonic jokes that kinda push the taste line——could shake that up and complicate the Phoebe/Marigold relationship in funny ways. =}
