I used to have the news on, but watching Andy Griffith makes it a lot easier to get ready for the day. No matter how many times you see the show, the black and white ones especially, it’s still funny.
George Lindsay was amazing. He brought a depth to his characters.But most amazing to me was always his voice. He sang in a very memorable episode of the Gomer Pyle spin off while in the Marines. I remember watching my grandpa watching it with tears in his eyes.
