It’s also worthy of note that Rush Limbaugh stood up for Kony (after all, “Lord” is right there in the name of his group) and attacked Obama for supporting Kony’s opponents. Who, of course, are Muslim, which is more important to Rush than morals.

Would you please give us an example of this “tried and true tactic,” besides this? The problem with you minions for your party is that you only see evil when the other party does it, but you close your eyes when the people on your side do it. Saying nothing IS saying something when you refuse to address the evil that is perpetrated by Democrats. If you decry evil by others, but don’t do the same thing all the time, then you are the worst hypocrite there is, because you support and celebrate it with your partisanship. Partisanship will be the death of America.

BTW, when I said “besides this?,” I meant the example of this idiotic comic, which is mindless partisanship at best, and deranged moral equivalency at worst. To call Bush’s responding wrongly to attacks on our shores (resulting in thousands of deaths, and billions in destruction) by attacking Iraq (which was supported by a majority of Democrats in both houses of congress) the same thing as Kony slaughtering and crippling hundreds, if not thousands of people across his own country is unconscionable.

Museveni and his government aren’t exactly “sweetie pies” either, as in repressive rulings and “interesting” retention of power. But, Uganda IS Uganda! Inhofe and the evangelicals operating over their also make things “interesting”. Kony sucks, but so do most over there. Kinda’ like invading two countries that had nothing in actuality to do with attacks on our country. Now, if we’d used “citizenship” as the actual guide, Saudi Arabia would now be featuring pig’s knuckles stands on every street corner?

Bush, war criminal, in some countries. You betcha, many of us here in the good ole USA think he, cheney, rumsfeld, rove and others are war criminals. I’d love to see they have their day in court, internationally if we can’t do it here in the USA.
