There have been times, after lunch on a warm spring day, and the kids are quietly working, when it seems impossible to keep my eyes open…at times like that, you’d give almost anything to be able to just close your eyes, lay down and snore for 20 minutes…

If you told somebody outright that they snore, they’ll deny it. In his case, it’s safer for him to drop hints about it, unless he wants a suspension. You’d be tired too if you started your day before the sun did.

I had one grade school teacher, a 70+-year-old nun, who regularly nodded off while teaching. We let her sleep, then someone “accidentally” dropped a book on the floor to wake her up a couple minutes before the bell. “My goodness! Where does the time go?”

    C-PAPs are a crock of bull – a gimmick.

I thought Ben said “Early to bed and early to rise and your girl goes out with other guys”

Early to rise, early to bed, is a life so boring you’re better off dead.

Sleep apnea is the second best con job in medicine, right after herring aids.

I have to Agree with Ianman03, My CPAP has truly saved my life. I was walking dead 3 years ago, within a week I was a whole different person, and that was before I actually got it working right! Once I got everything adjusted, (because sometimes one session of sleep study isn’t enough) It seriously changed my life for the better. If one truly has obstructive sleep apnea and is recommended a CPAP, and it doesn’t work for you, try another style. there are so many variations that one will work for you, and they continue to get quieter and more comfortable.

Takes time to adjust. Now I can’t sleep without it.

I have a friend who was hospitalized when they took her blood pressure and it was something like 200 over 140. CPAPs do lower blood pressure, and I think I can safely say it saved her life.
