    I am reluctant to limit your rant with real life, but among other things, he called Ms. Fluke a prostitute which, due to people like you, is illegal. Accusing someone of a criminal act without basis is slander, and I hope she sues his butt and the actual owner of the station – Bain Capital, Romney’s company.

    Evil exists in this world because my god is better than your god, and I want what you’ve got. And I am right and you are right and all is right except when it is not.

    Irish and the others, Fluke’s testimony didn’t have anything to do with sex—pre-marital, post-marital, recreational, or procreational. It had to do with a woman (a different woman, by the way) who was forced into an unnecessary operation because her Catholic college refused to allow her insurance to cover medication for an ovarian cyst because that medication can also be used for contraception.Lumbaugh’s rant was totally baseless and therefore was slander.By the way also, did anybody else notice that Lumbaugh just confessed to having porn on his computer?

    So I suppose the IrishEddie rants I see here and elsewhere are indicative of the tolerance that Joshua of Nazareth preached?

    @eryx

    sorry i have to disagree with you:

    “Their approach is no longer “live and let live”: it’s now, “you must live as I live”.”

    they do not say ‘you must live as i live’, as not a one of them can meet their own criteria or judgement (even though they’re not supposed to judge – i hear).

    what they really say is ‘you must live as my church SAYS you should live OR you are ANTI-CATHOLIC’

    What I don’t understand is how being well educated has anything to do with Satan and evil. Of course, a well educated population would see right through all this religious crap that we are being fed by the GOP candidates. Maybe that is what is evil.

    In what way? She has her own morals. If she disagrees with YOUR morals, that does not make her immoral. Jesus hung out with tax collectors and prostitutes — what’s YOUR problem?

    If Santorum wants to make this country into a theocracy it will be a waste of the American revolution. They came here to get free of a state run and approved church. A theocracy is what Iraq has.

    The republican idea of small government is to pry into every one’s private business.

    It is better to live and let live and follow Jesus words and teaching rather than the far extreme right wing “Christians” with theiir attitude of believe and receive doubt and go without beliefs.

    And their “if you are poor it is your own fault.”

    There are people who try and did everything by the rules and can’t find a job.There are 40% of children living in poverty, not their fault, and people whose only fault is getting old.

    There are some who have suffered tornadoes, hurricanes, fires, and other catastrophes, severe injuries due to accidents. And people who are blind and some people have severely bad backs! There are people with mental illness and people with PTSD!Most of these would rather be healthy and pay their taxes than being on disability.I know because I am one of those.

    I agree with what you said, it’s much better if people can practice non violent tolerance and live and let live, rather than as you said live as I live. You are right.
