This is not new.

Obama tried hard, but the GOP would have none of it, even when voting on their own plans (like health reform). It started with Newt’s legacy of poison back in the 90s. If he gets elected, it’ll be four years of perfect grid lock. On the plus side, the Bush tax cuts will end, no new wars will start, so we might make a stab at deficit reduction. But we’ll have no new judges, programs, and roads, and the rest of the world will continue to leave us in the dust economically by outcompeting us in every area, as Germany has been for a decade, by using government intelligently.

A clear, rational observation with only one error. You said ‘what’ in your last sentence – that should be ‘want’.

(Obama has never even “tried”….the GOP in congress have said that off-camera, Obama has never, ever tried to listen or give consideration to opinions and proposals of the GOP.)-people who get the SOTU transcripts and analyze them have said that Obama’s 3 SOTU speeches repeat, repeat, repeat the same promises and the same complaints and the same lies and omissions and misrepresentations. Obama is Johnny-One-Note….subtle and sneaky Marxism in disguise.-and Obama’s antipathy against Republicans, even Governors like Jindal and Brewer, is obvious and evident. Obama suing states over state laws is an expression of his despising GOP.
