saving the us auto industry was a brave and brilliant move by president obama. It put exactly the right leverage at the right point.

contracts are sacrosanct when made with the “c” levels – apparently they make out like robber barons whether they succeed or fail. it’s the people in the middle who work for a living that get screwed and are the loosers in the current class warfare being waged on the middle class.

for some reason, contracts made with the middle class are worthless when they stand between the people who earned them and those that are screwing them.

i for one am proud to live in a country where we do NOT turn pensioners and hard workers out in the cold of a michigan winter, and villify them for their decades of hard work.

American Motors Corporation (after Willys) used to make the Jeep, gee, under Romney Sr., then of course came Chrysler, bought by Daimler Benz. Them Romney boys, gee, if they can run America like American Motors, like toward further bankruptcy???
