LMAO, oh Petey!

I didn’t realize there were carnifores.

Junipers are in the same family as Venus Fly Traps. That’s why a common pine joke is to yell out “hey, your fly is open!”

Oh dear Petey! I can’t tell if he’s pulling Alice’s leg, or maybe has a Bostonian science teacher.

Coniferous … carnivorous … what’s the diff? I’m assuming that birds nesting in the tree have a symbiotic relationship. They led the tree to believe that the baby birds will be hors d’oeuvres when they are big enough. No wonder baby birds are so quick to fly the coop!

The coniferous tree must be related to the kite-eating tree.

I thought that coniferous meant someone who only ate cones. Like a non-Euclidean vegan is one who only eats foods with a negative curvature (i.e. Pringles).

Pines (especially like the blue spruce back in IL) provice very good shelter for the birds. My native pine was very fast growing and has more space between branches (grew over 20’ since I planted it less than 3’ tall in 1999). Birds hang out there in the day, but nest and sleep in the ficus and the cypress.
