Having a manger to decorate and hold gifts is much more like the “Greatest Gift” in history and more fitting than a decorated tree. It honors The “Giver”, “The Gift” and the eternal “Greatness”..

If the tree panic isn’t stopped soon, there will only be bloody stumps left!

But Christmas tree farms are better for the environment than shipping a plastic tree over from China.

Well, it is the last tree-buying weekend of this Christmas season! Do panic ad lib.

At least they have the van, not the tiny car, to carry home their tree.

Trees on those lots come from tree farms — they wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for the market for holiday trees. They cut down trees and then plant new saplings to keep the cycle going.

I miss having a real tree. Unfortunately my husband is allergic. Fake trees are ok, but they only last a few years before pieces start to break off. Then they end up in a landfill somewhere. At least with a real tree, you can recycle it.

sweep up a bunch of needles and glue them into the shape of a tree. Or better yet, use them to pad the crib in the manger.

Then there’s the unemployed Mathemetician who couldn’t afford a tree so he created a Yule Logarithm instead…

I second that comment @Christopher Shea. You should see how the people live who work in the factories that produce plastic tree. I also wonder what goes in the plastic ? If they are OK with adding melemine to milk and killing their own children I wonder what the heck are they putting in the plastic trees trees? toxic waste ? A real tree every time !
