Matt Bors is just one comic away from actually saying anything meaningful in his life.

Yep. At a recent call for applications for a new hotel in Miami, over 5000 people applied for about 200 openings.

If the business of business in America was more business, instead of just “profits”, there would be more manufacturing, service, and jobs available IN AMERICA! It IS the problem BUSINESS has refused to solve, for 25 years, not the stand aside “government” that has let the “free market” skate away from responsibility, and continues to do so today.

Halfabug- so you’re saying engineers, assembly line workers, warehousemen, truck drivers, and those in the company OTHER THAN CEOs and boards, don’t “deserve” to share that income, or share in the “profit”? I WANT companies and business to MAKE A PROFIT. But I also want them to reinvest that into infrastructure and yes, their employees AND investors, and yes, pay their fair share of taxes on those profits. That is NOT what has happened in “the free market” over the last 25 years of deregulation. Our society, and in fact, our environment, and potential survival, have paid the price for that “winner take all” attitude of the deregulation “winners”.
