Oakland is not a place many people would want to visit so it would be hard to boycott the place BUT, If ever there was a place that needed a good boycott….
In an MSN interview, a protester said they were throwing rocks and bottles at police BEFORE the cops fired rubber bullets and tear gas. The response was justified. You start a fight with a cop, you get hurt.
Trolls on the internet, agents provocateur in Oakland…what else is new? a certain number of slimy slobs ARE for sale…Koch buys them all, or they get indoctrinated…and attack the very people they should be allied with. Traitors…
These bunch of lazy bums wanted a clash with the police, it gives them a spark they need and they’re hoping it will get them more attention to their hundreds of causes.
Yeah he should get the bill, along with everyone else in the crowd. But we know that won’t since he’s an unemployed bum just like everyone in the OWS crowd. The ones who will be charged as usual is the working tax paying folks. You know the ones who use their college degree to earn a living.
A large part of riot control training is ignoring provocation. This wasn’t a riot, it was a demonstration. It often is poorly trained, or responding, police who turn things into a “riot”. Yes, halfabug, I AM concerned that “peaceably” be observed, by both sides. “Occupy” demonstrators DO need to respect others’ rights when demonstrating. “Civil disobedience” is a valid argument against bad law, but rational observance of valid law to preserve “order” is also in order.
Well, considering how they ADMITTED to throwing rocks and bottles at the police PRIOR to the police action, it would seem to me that Bors (like you) are leaving an essential element of the story out of the equation. At the LEAST you and the mindless mob owe them an apology.

Tell me you’re being sarcastic. ‘Cause if you’re not, you’re making humanity look bad.
