I am honestly very surprised that SOMEONE in the Democratic party hasn’t challenged Obama. Maybe they should learn something from the Republicans in 2008. . . Find a better candidate, or your base will vote with their rears by staying on the couch election day!

i don’t think anyone could make bush look like kennedy or lincoln. I don’t think there was a single thing bush/cheney did that wasn’t incredibly damaging.
At least with other presidents in my lifetime, i can think of multiple good things they accomplished:lbj – civil rights (kennedy legacy)nixon-ended the vietname warford – did NOTHING when NOTHING needed to be doneCarter – warned us that oil dependance to our enemies needed to be treated like “the moral equivalent of war” – and boy was he right.Regan – presided over the falling of the berlin wall (though it wasn’t his doing – he also RAISED taxes)Bush1 – didn’t cause irreperable damageClinton – greatest republican president in my lifetime
