Besides your ludicrous misstatement, might I point out that the two most polluted countries in the world are India and China? People die from the air quality in China (notice all those face masks they wear?), and India’s sky is brown from all the smog in it (I’ve seen it myself in Mumbai. It’s scary). In fact, there’s an “Asian Brown Cloud” that forms every year. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian_brown_cloud)Not to mention the fact that China did a damn good job of poisoning our children because of their lax regulations and enforcement. If that’s your idea of a model, no thanks.

How many Chinnese or Indian children are dying from non-regulated emissions, etc? Kudos to the company shown on NBC last night for moving their factories back to the U.S.

U.S. corporations are sitting on about 2 trillion dollars. Somehow, being smothered by regulations isn’t slowing down their dash for the cash!

tonnes of Government Regulations in India and China. In China the Government pre decides what industry it wants to dominate in. Companies are required to keep selling at a loss until the world competition gives up. By then either through economies of scale or raising the price (when competition is dead) do they become profitable. In fact in some industries they are only profitable cause of government hand outs. Course you’re still here envying the Indian and Chinese and screaming socialism when it doesn’t apply

The majority did get there the old fashioned ways, either inheritance, or theft that was “rationalized” and de-criminalized, by DE-regulation!

Back “in the day” when I had to read the regulations every day as part of my job, it WAS interesting that in ONE WEEK I found 33 regulations written by the Reagan “folks” that directly VIOLATED the LAWS they were supposed to ENFORCE! The biggest thing Cheney accomplished under 41 and 43 was working with folks to reverse regulations that protected Americans, and made them protect corporations instead, to our detriment!

I beg to differ with you “s”. China and India have Nationalized healthcare and Chinnese has two n’s, Chinese just has one n. Children in India are called Indian also.
