Once they get to playoff levels (and other special record situations like no-hitters), don’t they even switch to the special balls that have the RFID chip in them for verification/tracking?

That statement is based upon the faulty premise that all that food and drink is actually WORTH $40, which it isn’t. Friggin’ rip-off artists at all stadiums, concert venues and the like.
