Typical of the collectivists here to expect “compromise” in order to perpetually do everything that is currently destroying us. That’s right…don’t stop wrecking the country, because we’ve gone too far. We gave to go peddle-to-the-metal down their path until there’s nothing left to fix. By the way, “compromise” is essentially abandoning all other principles except what Democrats want to do, and basically removing all pretense of having an opposition party in the first place.
Democrats bowing to “compromise”, despite the known facts, and fearing “political consequences” of refusal, is exactly how we got into Iraq and Afghanistan at the same time, that worked well.
Obama is a master compromiser. His method is to start by giving Republicans more than they ask for, then, when they refuse because they can’t go along with anything he agrees to, give them more and more. The current deal is a good example.
