Um, the light bulb improvement bill was a bipartisan law, sponsored by both Democrats and Republicans, signed by G.W. Bush. Why this rush to blame it on Obama, who is only enforcing it? Oh, yeah, that’s right. Conservatives use their own facts.

One giant step toward the Omnipotent Community Organizer’s plan to spread the South Side of Chicago to every corner of our country. Oh, pray for that day. Rejoice, rejoice!

^ When my father worked for General Electric back in the 60s I read some of his literature from work.I remember reading that they used fluorescent lights in the GE plant, and they left them on 24 hours a day because the lamps lasted longer when you don’t cut them off and on.They used 96 inch fluorescent lamps.I think my 13 watt GE Compax lamps that cost $9 each in 1990 have saved me a lot of money. If you want to waste money on bulbs and extra electricity, I guess you will find a way.

As this cartoon explains, this message is brought to you by people who think government should tell you whom to marry, sleep with, etc.

balsam, what you are overlooking is that replicans WANT to waste energy and resources. They believe it is their gawd given right, and yes, even duty, to waste resources and pollute the earth as much and as quickly as possible. NO MIDDLE GROUND.

they don’t understand that it promotes the general welfare and provides common defense when we, as a nation, decide to use energy more efficiently and more wisely.
