I skipped the 1st grade too, and wouldn’t particularly recommend it.

If I had it to do over, I wouldn’t allow it to happen to my daughter. But at the time I was such a proud papa. Look how smart my daughter is!!!

I was moved from 5th to 6th over Christmas break. It worked out great for me, no regrets.

Skipped kindergarten, but repeated fourth grade when we moved, because I was tired of being the class runt.
