    During a cruel period of my life, I would take my brown paper bag to the duck pond, marvel how the birds crowded about me, a=take out my sandwich and eat. Damned quackers were lucky to get a crumb of crust. Bet St Francis is waiting for me to arrive.

    I thought the peanuts were for squirrels. Do wild (blue) birds eat peanuts?

    I think some wild birds do eat nuts. They’re in the wild bird seed that I buy.

    Lucy where are you…. Peanuts are packed with a lot of nutritional vitamins. As long as you are not allergic to NUTS! Then that could be a disaster for the birds.
