Poor Dad…..

Do you REALLY want to know? ‘Cause I don’t.

I think I’d rather start my days the way Lio does … I could use a tank some mornings …

I’m with Dad. One look at Lio rolling down this quiet, residential street in a tank and I’d jump back in bed and pull the covers over my head, and stay there until hunger forced me to get up!

Tank envy?

Another potentially promising day winds up in the tank.

Awww, and Dad looks sooo happy in the first two panels. Sometimes it really is better to just stay in bed and let the world pass you by.

It’s also a good thing Lio is too young for a license. It’s harder for the authorities to connect him with Dad.

As it happens, I lived across the street from the guy who really did “snag a tank” and then go on a little drive, and ended up dead. Happened a few years ago in San Diego. And he was the most stable of all three of those boys.

Come one Lewreader, don’t go THAT far for a pollitical comment. Just wait until you get a good opportunity.

At least Lio’s happy.

All the suffering dad has to go through, and look at the tanks he gets…

I remember during those long endless shifts at the drive-thru at A&W when I had aspirations of joining the military as a tank commander. I vowed to drive my tank through the drive-thru… literally if need be.

I would love to have my own tank! Sure as heck would make the morning commute a heck of a lot easier!

I would love to see this as an animated series

Be hard to go without words in animated series. Then again, Mr. Bean is hilarious and say nary a word.

Dad got back into bed so that no one would think that he was involved with whatever Lio’s about to do.

This is sooo hard to believe. Usually, the parents wake up way earlier than the kids.

Put a Lio in your tank … .

Basqueian, I remember the news story about the guy who “went postal” with the tank. No it didn’t have any ammo, but he did wreck a lot of cars before the authorities stopped him.
