TV: President Bush invited black leaders to the white house today to celebrate newsweek's announcement that black Americans were no longer the most-hated racial/ethnic group in America. They fell to third place behind people of middle Eastern/Arab descent and people of East Indian descent... because they look kind of like people of middle Eastern/Arab descent. President Bush said that with God's help, soon black Americans will beat the French and move to number four.

Impossible. Unless the French get their own comic full of one-sided political commentary without the light-hearted humor to make it amusing to all and pepper it with slams on French movies and Star Wars, then African Americans will never make it to 4th place. Or at least use one of theirs to make a cartoon series.

yeh, I kinda read that over and over…and still can’t get the gist….is this saying that african-americans deserve to be third because they have a one-sided political commentary strip of their own? I kinda get the idea this is a pro-bush thing..and that’s fine if that’s what one is into…. so long as no one gets hurt

Americans are probably the most hated ethnic group in France, so bumping them up a notch in the US is the least we could do. I mean, they gave us the Statue of Liberty after all, a nice “We’re number 3!” plaque isn’t too much for them to ask, is it?
