Actually if the bus slammed on the brakes, he would float down, likely landing on the roof of the bus. It’s the overhead powerlines and the freeway underpasses he needs to watch out for….

Well, if he knows what he’s doing (and, being Lio, he probably does) he could probably just lower himself under power lines and overpasses etc.
