I have quite a few of the green ones (Anna’s) in my yard. Saturday I was out in the yard and had a little brown friend lite on my shoulder. He is a Rufus and for some reason likes to perch on me while I am out in the yard. Glad to see he made it back this year. He’ll stick around for a week or so before continuing his journey north.
A little after midnight last night, there was something gold, making a humming noise and hovering right in front of me. Turned out to be a hornet. Hubby let it in when he took the dog out to pee, so I got hubby out of the shower to let it out. Yikes!
