There was an interview with the AZ attorney general who said (semiquote): "I hate to have to say it, but if you’re pregnant in Arizona, you need to have a plan to get out in case of necessity " and then she mentioned CA, CO, even NM.
After November, I confidently hope that AZ will be a reasonable destination “in case of necessity”.
But Arizona is going to fix this. Even many Republicans in the state know this issue is not going to win them votes and are asking the (Republican controlled) legislature to do something before the election. This court decision, by the way, will probably end Trump’s hope of carrying the state in 2024. There was already a movement to put a voter initiative on the ballot and this will be very motivating.
The law was written for a certain land mass, true, but decades before that land mass became a state. Which you would think would make a difference…..By the way, here in Missouri we likely will have a petition on the ballot in November to overturn our ban. Without voter suppression it should pass easily.

Is this the alternative to the back alleys in Phoenix? Stay and fight otherwise to overrule the court.

I don’t see Kari Lake leaving.
Well, some people just don’t need abortions. The pope, for example.
