If you zoom in on that bomb I think.. there is a Made in the USA sticker on it. Those years of blindly supporting Israel is getting to be a bit of an embarrassment.
I’m most worried right now by the Israeli attack on the Iranian Embassy compound in Damascus. I expect that Iran will counter-attack, and there’s a real danger of a wider war. The Israeli attack was stupid and irresponsible.
Israel’s Proclamation of Independence, issued May 14, 1948, invited the Palestinians to remain in their homes and become equal citizens in the new state:“In the midst of wanton aggression, we yet call upon the Arab inhabitants of the State of Israel to preserve the ways of peace and play their part in the development of the State, on the basis of full and equal citizenship and due representation in all its bodies and institutions We extend our hand in peace and neighborliness to all the neighboring states and their peoples, and invite them to cooperate with the independent Jewish nation for the common good of all.”The people who chose to flee their homes in Israel and locate in the Gaza strip did so for fear of the Arab response to Israel’s existence. They didn’t expect Israelis, who many had lived in peace with for generations, to do them any harm. Their fear was of the Arab states surrounding Israel, which they expected to destroy Israel and anyone there within a few weeks, when they then expected to go back to their homes
The Israelis then proceeded to win against whatever the Arabs threw at them, to this day, and they have been in constant danger for about 75 years. There is no denying that their response to the latest attack is over the top. There is also no denying that Israel has a right to be a little angry after 75 years of waking up every morning and wondering who’s going to attack today.
And there were miles of tunnels with over 500 entrances. And, the people of Gaza chose Hamas to lead them. Painting the Gazans as innocent bystanders is not valid.
The Arabs and the Israelis are both convinced that God has placed upon them and all their descendants a responsibility to claim and hold some of the most worthless land on the planet. As long as religion outranks common sense, there will be no solution to the mess in the middle east.

TampaFanatic1, had Hamas not massacred all those Israeli women, children and babies, this war would never have started.

If only they could lose their religions, they might be able to find peace.

It sure seems like Bibi thinks the only good Palestinian is a dead one. No matter what age they are.

Jones is again showing his remarkable ability to link unrelated news items into one nonsensical cartoon.

I tend towards pacifism. There are times when it’s hard to be a pacifist, but most times militarism is much worse.

Thank god! I was afraid other cartoonists may also be doing eclipse cartoons. For the mouthbreathers in the room, that was sarcasm.
