WALK AROUND THINGS DAY. I plan to walk around at a rummage sale today and even though it is my day off, I may be walking around Walmart too. My TV just seemed to up and die while I was watching it tonight. It turned off right in the middle of the program I was watching. In fact, there is no power to the TV (when there is power but the TV is off, the little red light is on. But there is no little red light). I checked the outlet and it works. I plugged the TV into a different outlet but there was still no power. I checked to be sure the plug into the TV is still plugged into the TV and that’s okay. Maybe I’ll find a TV at the church rummage sale (I doubt it though). Otherwise, I guess this calls for a trip to Walmart.

Chez – are you forgetting you hire dogs to run your shady hotel and restaurant businesses ? What would you do without sweet Roufus Out of control wind driven fire (downed power pole) burning about 40 miles south of here in a tiny rural community with mandatory evacuations in place. Hard to be optimistic that no home are being lost. 395, the ONLY highway accessing the eastern Sierra is closed in both directions and “alternative” routes are more than a few hundred miles out of the way.
