I always faked it when I had to call in sick when I was sick, so I’d sound sick enough that they wouldn’t ask me to come in when I was sick.

Wait, except for that one time I was so sick that I was delirious, and when I called them to say I was sick they asked me to stay home in case I was really sick.

Man, that was a good fever.
