Really don’t blame you, and I have to question the Dears’ mental state going for a walk in pouring rain.

I looked up airing cupboard. Sounds lovely for a doggo on a chilly day.

It’s already raining cats and dogs Fred, they don’t need one more today…

The airing cupboard exists because of the British weather. I would stay in there too, Fred………

That’s one dog who knows when to come in from the rain.

There are dogs that love the rain and will actually walk in it. My dog will go out to potty in the rain, but will not take a walk in it.

To Walkie or not to Walkie …. That is the question . Must admit there are very few days when the dogs and myself don’t go for a walk ;-)

I don’t blame Fred. Nothing could drag me out on a day like that.

Sure, they have umbrellas, all Fred has is fur and we all knows what wet dog fur smells like. And, given a dogs smeller is much better than ours that smell must really hurt.

I’m with you, Fred! I have been caught outside in weather like that; unless you have the perfect clothing for it, it becomes miserable pretty quickly. At my Alma Mater, the library tower was well-separated from the rest of the buildings on campus; the gap between the library and the sciences building created a wind tunnel effect, magnifying winds to a startling degree and funneling the rain along with it. Many’s the time that I had to pour water out of my shoes then wring out my socks after I reached shelter.

Every British program I’ve watched, it’s raining. I’m surprised you guys don’t have webbed feet.

Fred appears to be smarter than the Dears. Wonder why they didn’t drive?
