So there’s not time for sadness or grief. So when Jesus said, “Blessed are you who mourn” he was just joking?

Amen.

As if tears were optional? If you have never had anything happen to you that made you cry, you are in no position to be giving anyone advise.

Tears relieve stress. But once they’re done, get out and deal with whatever made you sad in the first place. Change something, let something go, and move on.
