I think they skipped the Wednesday strip mentioning “Hit a housewife”, could this build up for the end of the week where there’s a replacement earlier strip (Unless it waits until Monday when Monday’s strip reprints one of the mid 1960’s Peanuts eclipse of the sun arc to tie in with the current April 8, 2024 eclipse of the sun event)?
I was at a practice round for one of the Majors when one of the Pros got out his wedge for an approach to the green. He swung and the ball went about 3 ft straight up and back down. I turned to my buddy and said, “I could make a shot like that, I’ve made that exact shot several times.” The Pro heard me!! He picked up the ball tossed it in the air and swung his club like a bat and put the ball on the green. He then turned to me and said, “Let’s see you make THAT shot.”
Now the caddies have these really accurate course maps to judge distance (watch the flip-books they carry on televised tournaments). Some places allow laser rangefinders.

If you’re that far from the hole, there’s no point in asking.

I like how Woodstock counts. It’s s the first thing he has ever said that I understood.
I am a little surprised that 5 isn’t four lines with a slash through them.

Was Snoopy planning to play a full 18 holes of golf? This could take quite a few days if they do this on every hole.

Is that human yards, or birdie yards. I think the latter. If Snoopy was any kind of a golfer, he’d be able to make out the distance by experience.

250 yards? That’s a midget hole,
Masters holes can be 450 yards

Too late to take the shot now. Should have just read the sign.
