The last time someone tried to engage me in small talk I was at a gas station. He drives up as I am putting gas in my car and starts telling me they should just leave Trump alone, he did nothing wrong, it’s political persecution, that’s what it is. I just ignored him, put the hose back, and got in my car.
Having written schedules in a retail store, it is as much art as science to predict when people shop. Some major stores are ridiculous- 30 check stands – 3 checkers . Walk away time.
