Meanwhile the phones are ringing off the hook at a sweatshop in a far away Southeast Asian jungle as orders for “State Champion Inma Dreams” commemorative clothing, gear and keepsakes begin to pour in.

JB would develop a character over weeks. We came to know his/her fears & weaknesses, and the individual’s strengths and virtues. By giving us a boatload of characters without developing any of them in-depth HB may be asking us to use our own imaginations to develop them as individuals, but on occasion it seems like it reduces them to mere stereotypes — and is a bit ironic.

After seasons of complaining about teams and hoping for 2nd place and then 4th place finishes in The Valley, Hank is spoiling us Snarkers with championship after championship. Milford HS has taken its rightful placeas the home of champions. Along with stretching an athletic department budget to fund new sports amid budget cuts.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but this was an amazing performance. We are in the 10th day of Ramadan and she still has enough strength to become a champion.

After today, I’d laugh if Marty Moon tries to pull a Staff Sergeant Webster on Inma and induce her to turn on Sergeant Highway and she responds, as in the movie “I got nothing to say”.

State champion! First time since the Milford HS football team in 2014. And, girls cross-country 2017, 2018, unified tennis 2019, mock trial 2023….

In a huge surprise, Inma is DQ’d, not for her authorized Ha bib, but because upon examination, it’s actually an unauthorized balaclava.

Not bad, going from never wrestling in her life to State Champion in 3-4 months. And speaking of not bad, today’s Mopped Up Thorp is not bad, as usual.
