During the early stages of the War on Terror, when we were attacking the Taliban, we air-dropped aid packages on Afghanistan in hopes of winning hearts and minds. Minor problem: the yellow packets (designed to flutter to the ground individually for easier and wider distribution could be mistaken and sometimes were mistaken for bomblets from cluster munitions, which we were also dropping.

What check? Biden is forced to walk a thin line: If he tells Netanyahoo to stop, he loses Jewish support; if he does not support the Palestinians, he loses their support. What is the right thing to do? Tell Israel enough is enough, get in line with the United Nations. The Hamas terrorist attack was just that, a terrorist attack. Over 30,000 dead Palestinians v. 1200 dead Israelites only supports three more generations of new terrorists.
