What is there in the Jesus legend that could possibly make someone think that Jesus would want to be reminded of the brutal torture of the cross?
It is like saying that if John F. Kennedy were to return in a second coming that he would want to be greeted by crowds of people wearing miniature high-powered rifles around their necks.
I would think the last thing Jesus would ever want to see if he ever came back would be another cross.
