Are you demented? Trump encouraged an insurrection. He has made it clear if reelected he has no issue setting up a dictatorship.

If your vision for America in the 21st Century is a combination of the Confederate States of America, 1930’s Germany and “The Handmaid’s Tale”, by all means, vote Republican. If you think tax giveaways for corporations and billionaires is a better use of your tax dollars than feeding hungry Americans, by all means, vote Republican. If you have even a shred of decency, vote Democratic.

“I said: ‘You didn’t pay? You’re delinquent?‘… ’No I would not protect you, in fact I would encourage them to do whatever they want. You gotta pay.’”

Al, that is a quote from your messiah trump. All you need to know about whom to vote for.

We all know Biden is suffering from some form of dementia or other severe mental deficiency. Even his DOJ has determined that he is unfit to stand trial. So all these lefties gaslighting us are wasting their time. We believe what we see. And the “but Trump” excuse simply does nothing to help their case.

But the Dems must do what they do simply because running on their woke policies will result in failure. So they avoid policy discussion at every turn.

Trump confused Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi, has said several times he ran against Obama. He said we might start World War II, although that war was fought and won. More dangerous, are his policies and plans to become a dictator. Why is anyone for that?

This is the first time I’ve seen Al’s comics. I went back and looked at his history of comics and while I like his artwork, his messages seem to be just blunt. His humor takes a back seat, often absent, to just trying to hit you in the face without nuance or subtlety and usually just a superficial right-wing ambiguous, deceitful, disingenuous, and/or evasive jingoism. Perhaps it’s that way so the “deplorables” can follow along.

When you are dealing with an older person who may or may not have memory lapses or is subject to emotional outbursts because of age, the essence of the person becomes much more critical. Let’s examine the makeup of the two most likely candidates for President in 2024.

First, there’s President Biden. A man who has dedicated his life to public service, who has seen the unimaginable loss of his first wife and daughter, then a son to cancer, yet still holds onto his empathy for others. He is a man who hires intelligent, good people and inspires them to take his ideas and turn them into working policies that benefit not himself but others whom he will never meet. He is a man who is worried about the generations that follow and wants them to have the clean air and stable environment that he grew up in.

Now, let’s look at the likely Republican challenger.

Donald Trump’s ONLY guiding principle in any endeavor is – What’s in it for him? – How can he maximize his happiness, power, or wealth? Growing up, Trump enjoyed telling stories of how he tortured his own brother and others as a child. In one instance, Trump was caught by neighbors throwing rocks at a child in a playpen. He wasn’t the least bit apologetic. Trump’s sociopathic countenance means he doesn’t feel any empathy for anyone.

Finally, Trump’s only requirement for hiring is slavish loyalty to him, even at the cost of the rule of law or the country’s well-being. When the hire in question didn’t prove sufficiently loyal, they were fired, often without a qualified person available to take their place. Even yesterday, Trump said he would encourage Russia to attack Nato countries he doesn’t like. Do you think any of the stooges Trump hires would try to stop him?

Since both men are showing typical signs of their age, although it can be said that Trump seems to be also displaying more cognitive impairment, which one do you feel more comfortable with?

    Still voting for President Biden.

‘Music to Putin’s ears’: Experts fact check Trump’s rally lies and missteps

Donald Trump had a rally in South Carolina on Saturday at which he purportedly lied, misspoke, and promised dangerous policies favoring Russia.

The former president in one instance at the rally said, “One of the presidents of a big country stood up and said, Well, sir, if we don’t pay and we’re attacked by Russia, will you protect us? I said.. No I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want.”

“Trump says he would defy Article 5 of NATO. This is music to Putin’s ears,” she posted in response Saturday.

Sean Casten (D-IL), an elected official, also had an issue with that statement.

“A convicted tax dodger asserts that you should not be entitled to the protection of the state if you don’t pay your fair share,” he wrote on Saturday. “That’s not the case. But for a guy who sponges a lot of resources off the state that’s a hell of a thing to believe.”

Trump was also criticized for his comments regarding his handling of documents considered classified.

“Your Honor, the prosecution rests,” a Democratic strategist wrote on social media Saturday. Trump had claimed that he was “president all the time” so the documents at Mar-a-Lago were secure and unseen.

Anti American values trump encourages Putin to fight with everyone.

I usually try to avoid mentioning Trump unless the topic involves him, but, since you brought it up…

Trump is on record as saying that if Russia attacked a country in Europe he wouldn’t honor our NATO treaty. That is a huge betrayal. He is either insane, completely deranged or could just care less if the world burns down (as long as it’s not him). That was just today,

He promises to pay back for every politician, reporter or private citizen who crosses him, and he brags he’ll use his power as president to do so.

While it’s normal to occasionally mix people up, he does so with regularity. Sometimes it’s hard to tell whether he’s free associating like someone on LSD, or really can’t tell the difference between some people.

The Washington Post made a game up about Trumps lies, falsehoods and misleading statements. They kept count and got up to 30,000 in 4 years. He either believes this stuff or he is willfully lying. Either prospect is disturbing.

I could go on, but it’s a waste of time.

Here’s the thing, Mr. Goodwynn. It’s a fair point to wonder about President Biden’s age. I am mystified why no Democrats challenged him, there are plenty who could. However, the fact that you could minimize Mr. Trump’s obviously disturbing behavior means the following, either you agree with everything he says or don’t care that he is obviously deranged. Either way SHAME ON YOU!

    “Who is running the country?”

Many habitual LibProg commenters hereabouts have opined, just this weekend, on how happy they are with the invisible puppeteers who are actually running the country behind the scenes while Old Slo Joe distracts everyone through his conversations with his dead friends.

These cheerleaders aren’t free people, nor are they capable of being made and kept free through the actions of better men and women than themselves. They have the mindset of slaves.

Even worse, they will never rest until they infect you with their poisoned mindset. Don’t let them!

None of Biden’s gaffes have become executive policy.

Herd mentality was the official Trump policy about covid.

    .

Small thing, right? Only a million or so Americans died from covid. And virtually everyone got sick to one degree or another, but that doesn’t matter either.

    .

And, Trump’s NON gaffe policy is to allow PUtin to ‘do whatever the Hell he wants’, also totally admired by Goodwyn and the other Trump Disciples.

Seems that Biden’s ‘gaffes’ are much more important to Goodwyn than tRump’s moral character whether it’s cheating on Melania with Stormy or obstructing the DOJ or ‘inviting’ Putin to invade NATO countries or claiming “immunity” above America’s laws….

Yeah, covefe is totally the only blunder Trump has ever made. :-P I mean, I tend to find verbal (and text) slip-ups to be more humorous than meaningful, but it’s pretty rich to suggest Trump has only tripped over himself once. He’s a lousy public speaker and even in text (where in theory he ought to be able to proofread) he makes a lot of mistakes.
