I’m having the opposite thing happen. I finally switched to black coffee and now I’m excited to taste things like cinnamon in the coffee beans themselves!
A squirt of Reddi-Wip in your preheated cup, then pour your coffee over it slowly (prevents denaturation of protein chains). A little sweetness from the whipped cream knocks down the acid, and the oils from the coffee combine with the milkfat to enhance the coffee flavor. Particularly good if you like coffee ice cream.
