Many years ago, I threw out a can of chili in the kitchen garbage. Came home to find that can in the middle of the living room, licked clean halfway down & the bowl of water for the dog was empty. She took the can & then found out it was hot chili & drank a huge bowl of water in less than an hour.
Our little Miss Maggie was picky like a two year-old child. “If I haven’t had it before, I don’t like it!” She even turned her nose up at a liver-flavoured dog treat someone offered her.
