    You do have a very sophisticated palette. You love sausage, Doggydins, and Mrs. Dear’s leftovers, and whatever tidbits that might hit the floor during a party, but Haggis – that’s a hard no.

    It always amuses me to see people cringing at the prospect of eating haggis; but they have no second thought about chowing down on a sausage; even though they are essentially the same thing .

    Actually, haggis tastes much the same as liverwurst. A little drier, perhaps, because of the oatmeal. (But I have to remark that I’m describing American haggis—genuine Scottish haggis is illegal here.)
