I had an experience with Shakespeare in the early 90s.

Washington, DC, used to have free Shakespeare in Carter Barron Amphitheatre every summer. One year it was “Much Ado About Nothing” starring David Birney as Benedick. It was breezy, charming and delightful.

Then, later that year, Kenneth Branagh came out with his film version and it was dull and tedious. Just goes to show ya that the big-time movie stars don’t always produce the best stuff.

If she hates what he watches so much, get another tv and put it in a separate room. But then she couldn’t control him and all her joy would disappear.

You can’t change someone’s likes and dislikes. Neither can you be upset with them for their preferences

Shakespeare has too much violence and sex, that’s why some schools are pulling it from their libraries.
