Do you suppose Lily could settle for just 3 spritzes of lavender on her pillow? No, I guess she’s not one to compromise, is she?

@laughingkitty…. you usually read this before you go to bed?? “Sweet dreams”, maybe. I read it early in the AM to get me through the day feeling good!

I think Annie, dear sweet young Annie, just uttered the F—- word and asked Bluebell to convey it to HRH Lily.

    OT

After I am in bed, and read a bit of my current library book, I usually watch Mayday: Air Disasters.

I tape and then watch them just before falling asleep almost every night. My Oliver is always in bed beside me to tone down the tension. Occasionally the kittens and Tyler will join us.

Last night I watched these 2 beauties:

Story #1 was about JAL flight 123. ‘Japan Air Lines Flight 123 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight from Tokyo to Osaka, Japan. On August 12, 1985, the Boeing 747 operating the service suffered a severe structural failure and decompression 12 minutes into the flight.’ 4 survivors. 520 passengers and crew perished.

If that wasn’t bad enough, it was followed by:

Story #2…. ‘On April 7, 1994, Federal Express Flight 705, a McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30 cargo jet was carrying electronics equipment across the United States from Memphis, Tennessee, to San Jose, California. A Fed Ex crew member (on-board but not actively one of this flight crew) attempted to hi-jack it.’ So much blood and gore, ending a horribly tense 59 minutes later. This was the worst of the 2 stories…….but the 1st one was no picnic either.

How I got to sleep after that 2nd one is a miracle!

Oliver cuddled with me throughout both episodes.

I gotta go back to watching reruns of THE NANNY and/or BENNY HILL.

Uh, Bluebell, you might want to step a little further back from Lily before you give her the bad news. You need enough room for a quick getaway before she unleashes her wrath. On another note, saw two finches, two rabbits, four robins, a chickadee, a sparrow, and two spotted towhees while out walking today.

We had a sub for Yoga Stretch yesterday. We’ve had her before & I like her. Yesterday when she started the meditation, she asked if anyone wanted a spritz of lavender, my hand was the first one up!
