And the girls obsess over guys that tall and won’t give us shorter ones a chance because they’re shallow.

Bavid Dalogun One time I was 10 years old.

So what’s next for young mister Balogun? Go on to medical school like Douglas Howser did?

I doubt a nine-year-old has the social skills and social self confidence of a typical 17 or 18 year old high school graduate.

Maybe the internet and social media help a nine year old grow up faster nowadays. Not necessarily a good thing!

David was featured on Fox News recently. Maybe from India but now living in the US with his parents. Also, a 14yr old girl graduated from a US college.

How’s he gonna get a job? It’s considered illegal to hire someone under 16.

There was a similar story about William Sidis, a child prodigy who entered Harvard at age 11.

That’s standing up. Measure American men’s height while they are lying down. Those beer bellies can be quite tall. And They’re all sadder Budweiser. Ha ha ha. Tee-hee. ~ Jeanne-Paule Marie Deckers, got my measuring tape, my mandolin, and my wine, let’s get it on

Take care, may proud High School graduate Christina “Huh?” O’Ennuiord be with you, and gesundheit.

Other than Calculus and Chemistry classes, high school was of little benefit educationally.

Really?? Wow. I didn’t know that 15% statistic. Is that really true?? I feel like most men are tall. Hmmm I’m 5’8", and the men are usually taller than me, so I just assumed. Weird. My hubby is 6’1"… so yeah, I guess I just assumed more were tall.

Kudos for David’s school recognizing his higher intellect and graduating him early. I feared our country had slipped into the “award mediocrity” and “teach to the average.” When I was younger, and there were actually 3 classes for every grade depending on your abilities. (By the way: I’m a former teacher so I’m not hating on the education system per se)

Right now, there’s a 13-year-old American Chess Player, Alice Lee, who is “playing with the big dogs”:

Thinking about it, puberty makes high school and college that much more difficult, too difficult for some of us.

I seem to recall reading that the average height of Frenchmen was reduced by WW1.

Sensible women care about the person the man is, not his height or looks. When we were watching the “Superman” movie, hubby desolately commented that with guys who look like Christopher Reeve around, men like him didn’t have a chance. I told him that when a woman is in love with a man, that man looks better than Christopher Reeve to her, no matter what. He still always worried about his height (which was 5’8, a perfectly fine height IMO). But I think he felt better about movie stars. (And how many people are there in reality who look like movie stars? I sure don’t, lol.)
