Republicans hate elections and hate voting.

They do everything they can to suppress both.

    .

You’ll notice that Ramirez doesn’t include ANY other method of voting other than in person and with “ID”, both of which can be and are restricted (suppressed) by Republicans. Republicans define voting by mail or early voting as fraud.

Amen. I’d also like to have methods of maintaining voter rolls too.

What if people got on the voter rolls by having good id and then voted from home and someone checked their signature before the ballot was put into the optical scanner?

Impressive and labor intensive art work here. Too bad it covers up the real hurdles about voter suppression such as the diminished number of polls, short voting hours, registration requirements closing weeks before election days, restrictions on absentee and mail-in voting, limited locations and dates for early voting. In Indiana all these conditions obtain. There is, in many counties at least, the ability to vote at any poll location.

Registered voters here in Colorado enjoy, and have enjoyed, being able to bypass Republican voter suppression and interference through mail-in voting. As a bonus, we also get to watch the pathetic MAGAS sitting in their trucks impotently eyeballing us as we deposit our ballots in secure drop-off boxes.

The new Republican strategy. Manufacture a “crisis” then say only we can fix it. Frame it as simply as possible to fool the masses into thinking it’s “common sense”. It doesn’t have to be right as long as it “sounds right”.
