When I was a kid we only got 25 cents for an A and nothing for B’s or anything else. Since the grade wasn’t the best dontcha know. But I ought to have gotten megabucks for a B in science or math since they were harder for me.
My brother got a dollar for every A he got on his report card. I made mostly Cs, but when I got an A once, and expected a dollar from my dad, he said “I shouldn’t have to pay you to get good grades”.
$1 for every a, .50 for a B, nothing for a C, and D and F you pay $5.I miss being small and able to climb on shed roofs. Now it had better be shored up.
Hi Alondra. I remember you from an old website we were both members of. It’s nice to make contact again. I don’t know if I’m allowed to name it here. it was dedicated to an old serial from the 60’s.
I told my son that each A was worth $5 and if he got all As I’d double his money. It was always a combo of the two. Finally in his Junior year, he did it, but it was just to prove he could if he wanted to. :-)

Either because he wouldn’t get any money or he would waste whatever money he got?
