Does any doctor use one of those scales anymore? All of mine have digital ones, and have for years.

For those younger readers who therefore do not recognize the prop for the joke, that is what the scale in a doctor’s office used to look like.

My gym uses several.

I knew a guy that had to use the digital freight scales at work. The balance beam scales had a 100, 200, and 500 weight you put on a platform on the end of the scale.

Hop? Surely the word is “waddle”!

A proper balance scale. Rare these days.

Had to got to analog after the digital burned up the batteries trying to calculate.
