It’s awful. China doubled down with politics in the opening ceremonies.

It is estimated that at least, at least, 50 million, yes million, Native Americans died during the western expansion in the US by white settlers of European ancestry, deaths were due to the gift of disease unknown in its variety, war and good old simple slaughter, included so many women and children, oh yes, almost forgot starvation, ever hear them ask for reparations, er, ah not so much, they have almost no political clout and you most likely are still living on land stole from them, have a nice day.

Every free World Country should have boycotted these Olympics in China!

We need to work with our allies to start boycotting China, increasingly.

While I’ve wondered why countries like Russia and China get the Olympics, should the U.S. get them instead? Look at the ridiculous numbers in prisons, wars and oppression started for the benefits of U.S. businesses, hedge fund managers like Leon Cooperman (recent editorial) that cannot understand why people are so upset about income inequality while companies like Toys R Us and Sears are destroyed by their actions, destruction of the environment while blaming it on other countries – U.S. lead for a century in carbon emissions that only went down DIRECTLY because the U.S. outsourced manufacturing, which added to emissions because of transport, etc.

All the rings should be dripping.

Any kind of interaction has to be better than nothing.

Haven’t yet asked Wikipedia, but were the rings supposed to represent 5 continents of the modern games? Was Australia left out?
