Even after Disaster Pumpkin shuffles off this mortal coil and won’t personally be around to haunt us, his malign spirit will live on in the shriveled souls of his sycophants.

All the supposed wealth and out he comes with pants so long he never saw the toilet paper trailing him while he and the paper were waving in the breeze of Air Force One.

So far, no Republicans have had the guts to stand up and challenge Trump, which may be a good thing. If he should run in 2024, I don’t think he could win.

Hang in there, Uncle Sam. Most Americans are willing to go to war to protect democracy. Count me in.

Like other fascist movements, it is riddled with internal contradictions, but no less of a threat to democracy. Donald Trump is an aspiring autocrat out solely for his own power and material gain. By giving this movement a classically authoritarian leader, Trump shaped and exacerbated it, and his time in politics has normalized it.

Donald Trump has shown others what is possible. But the fascist movement he now leads preceded him, and will outlive him.

At the risk of being completely misunderstood, I’m going to make the following comment. As little as I liked Trump, I’m much more afraid of Mike Pence. Trump was much more of a pragmatist, who said a lot of things just to get the conservative vote. Pence, on the other hand, is extremely far right by choice, and the thought of that man being president scares me so much more than Trump. Even worse of a nightmare would be a Pence/Abbott ticket.

Sadly the United States will suffer a long lingering death…

I can’t believe prior to 2016 when Trump was elected, I believed the United States would endure for at least several hundred more years. Now I’ll be happy if it holds together for the rest of my life.

Or kill American democracy. Same difference.

The New America will rise again, once we are rid of the current WOKE tumor. We will cut it out with nice clean margins. Then and only then Life will return to normal.
