The larger problem is the Republican Party that goose steps and all are terrified of going against their party, even if it would help the majority of the people that they supposedly represent.

Manchin wouldn’t be a problem if there were any Republicans left in the Senate who put country before party.

How about the Republicans? Aren’t they part of this country? When are we going to think about Country and not just party?

A little irony here. We tax payers (the government) buy a lot of coal from Joe Manchin in the form of tax subsidies, Chip. Google, “Does the government subsidize the coal industry?Coal, oil, and natural gas received $5.9 trillion in subsidies in 2020.”

So a man representing less than 2 million people is determining the future of approximately 331,449,281 American citizens. This whole Senate thing needs to be revisited. Like the electoral process, the Senate is inequitable and unjust.

The 2020 U.S. Census data released earlier this month showed that West Virginia’s population declined by 3.3 percent in the last decade, dropping to 1,792,147. All but eight counties lost population. – https://wvmetronews.com/2021/08/27/west-virginias-population-decline-hits-cities-hard/

He doesn’t need his stocking stuffed with coal, his pockets are already stuffed with massive amounts of coal money along with big oil money and Koch money.

Better to give Manchin a bill for exactly what he’s costing every citizen of WV in his Coal-Mullionaire-Ass-Kissing Agenda to destroy the state.

Senator Manchin, the last Democrat with integrity and the guts to stand up against the socialists agenda of his party. Y’all just keep up with the mean swipes at him lefties, drive him right into the Republican Party and give them a majority in the Senate.

Joe’s family business is selling waste coal to a power plant in WV. He opposes climate change legislation because he profits from pollution. He is trading Death for Dividends. He doesn’t care who dies as long as the $ rolls in.West Virginia coal miners ask him to reconsider BBB opposition.

I can’t see how Manchin plans on being re-elected.

With his obstinance, he is punishing the Democrat voters of his state, and they won’t vote for him again. The crazy-ass Republicans want a trump-clone for their candidate, so they won’t vote for him. And, any middle-of-the-road voters who wanted stronger safety nets won’t vote for him.

Perhaps Manchin has decided that he is done and will retire to his huge houses (plural) and his very large houseboat. I am sure the money he has made from special interest coal will keep him from starving.

While Baghdad Bok focuses on Manchin, there are 50 Republican Clone Troopers that are solidly against helping the American people.
