I think Fred Basset is a bit more realistic going after sausages. I don’t think a dog has a sweet tooth in quite the same way we do. Yes, they’ll eat it — we had a dog who learned to pick ripe strawberries and blackberries by watching us — but I’m pretty sure they’d prefer meat.
I have 3 cats and only ever had one dog. He was given to me by a neighbor who was leaving the country. Had him for 3 yrs before he died of cancer. Loved him so much. Would get another dog but, at my age I don’t think I could handle one, with my bad back and knees.
