Joe’s got a lot on his plate and he’s not getting much help governing from the “loyal” opposition. This country needs both parties to pitch in and do something to make progress, but instead we see a lot of determined obstruction. As McConnell said about Obama, his sole goal was to make him a one term president, and now he is focusing 100% of his efforts to prevent Biden from getting the job done. It feels like we are seeing the destruction of our wonderful experiment in freedom and personal responsibility being destroyed right before our eyes.

If China invades Taiwan the president will have no choice but to concentrate on Asia. Along with the rest of the world. We can only hope that does not happen.

So President Biden has to stop worrying what the disloyal, undemocratic, insurrectionist QOP party is saying and just do the right thing for the country. Pass the voting rights act. Add 4 more Supreme Court justices. Make DC and PR states. Pass the infrastructure bill and the social safety net bills.

We have about 2 years to try to save our democracy from these traitors who have actually said they don’t believe in democracy anymore.

……Gaetz told the paper. “If Trump doesn’t run, I’m sure I could defeat whatever remains of Joe Biden by 2024.”. . . .Yup, the repubs are really concerned about the general welfare of our country!

Phil Ochs had it right: “We’re the cops of the world…” Not volunteers. Self-assigned.

Or, as they said about VietNam, “Nuke `em all and let God sort `em out!”
