God lets Bad Things happen because it 1) Amuses Him & 2) Gives him Something to do. Why do you think he Created the Devil? If he was Omnipotent, then that Couldn’t Possibly be a Mistake, could it? That’s also why God made some Moral Issues a Lot more Complex than we’d Like them to be.
