So, do you think post--structuralism is a valid mode of literary interpretation? Well... One of the skills I've found very useful in life is vomiting on command.
When I was thumbing through Europe in the mid Seventies a girl from England shared with me that the most valuable thing she had learned was how to vomit on command. She said it was a great deterrent to overly “friendly” male drivers , especially since they were also the ones most likely to worship their cars as well.
I’m trying to figure out if the narrative is the guy figuratively referring to the spew in his speech balloon; or the girl about to literally unload to avoid answering.
Not to be too nitpicky, but isn’t “on command” at the behest of someone else? A more appropriate phrase is “at will.” Though one could argue that every action is something that you command yourself to do…
